Steel Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ligonier Valley Rams. One positive for the Ironmen, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ligonier Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sydnee Foust, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 22 rebounds. That's the most rebounds Foust has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Abby Springer, who posted six points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

Steel Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Ligonier Valley, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Steel Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-9 win against East Allegheny on the 19th. Ligonier Valley has also already played their next game, a 71-17 loss against United on the 17th.
