Recap: Bedford Bisons vs. Forest Hills Rangers

The Bedford Bisons struggled with threes on Monday (the Forest Hills Rangers had five more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Bedford took a serious blow against Forest Hills, falling 59-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bedford has scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Bedford saw an underclassman step up: Rebekah Costal scored seven points.

It was another big night for Alexis Henderson, who scored 14 points for Forest Hills. Another player making a difference was Aivah Maul, who scored nine points.

Bedford has not been sharp recently as the team has lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Forest Hills, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bedford will challenge Juniata Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Forest Hills, they will head out on the road to take on Hollidaysburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hollidaysburg is on a nine-game streak of home wins, Forest Hills a 14-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
