Preview: Kimball Jaguars vs. Campolindo Cougars
The Kimball Jaguars and the Campolindo Cougars will round out the year against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Campolindo took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Kimball, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Kimball was able to grind out a solid win over Tracy, taking the game 53-42. Given Kimball's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while Tracy is ranked 708th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kimball's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sierra Tuliau, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Tuliau's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Coronado, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, Campolindo lost to College Park at home by a decisive 50-32 margin on Thursday.
Kimball is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Campolindo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
