Baseball Recap: Westside Seminoles vs. Rutland Hurricanes
Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Rutland Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-9 on Tuesday.
Westside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaiden Stephens, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Stephens' first of the season.
Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Rutland, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-13.
