It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kennedy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 59-26 victory over the University Wildcats. The Cougars are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

Leading Kennedy to victory were Andreya Villa and Gabriella Valles. Villa dropped a double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds, while Valles posted 18 points along with six boards and five blocks. That's the most points Valles has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alize Perez, who put up five points.

Kennedy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matchups.

University lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Katty Noundjio, who earned eight points.

Kennedy pushed their record up to 22-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.3 points. As for University, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

Coming up, Kennedy will square off against Arleta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
