Pam Boyarko made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. Palmer Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pueblo Central only posted a batting average of .240.
The win was the fourth in a row for Palmer Ridge, bringing their record up to 23-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pueblo Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-6.
As of now, neither Palmer Ridge nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
