Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against First Preparatory Christian Academy on Thursday, Trinity Christian came back down to earth. The Crusaders fell just short of the David Emanuel Academy Eagles by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 two weeks ago.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for David Emanuel Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will face off against Brentwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for David Emanuel Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Portal at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
