Hawkins is 10-0 against Crenshaw since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hawkins Hawks will challenge the Crenshaw Cougars at 3:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Wednesday, Hawkins didn't have quite enough to beat George Washington Prep and fell 3-2. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Crenshaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Dorsey.

Crenshaw's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hawkins, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Hawkins took their win against Crenshaw when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hawkins since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
