Softball Recap: Higbee Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Higbee's win against Norborne wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Pirates 5-4. The win was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Higbee's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Norborne, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Higbee will face off against Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norborne, they will head out to square off against Slater at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
