Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Long County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Long County). They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Bryan County Redskins on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Tide also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The victory (which was Long County's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Bryan County, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Long County has already played their next match, a 16-0 victory against Liberty County on the 19th. As for Bryan County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-3 win against Jenkins County on the 19th.
