Soccer Recap: Calistoga Beats Credo for Their Third Straight Victory

Calistoga gave up the first goal on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Credo Gryphon, sneaking past 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Calistoga sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Xiomara Lopez and Xochilt Lopez scored both of Calistoga's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Calistoga's win bumped their record up to 7-4-2. As for Credo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calistoga will face off against rival Technology at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Credo is set to square off against their familiar foe Roseland Collegiate Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
