Luella has gone a perfect 5-0 against North Clayton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Luella Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the North Clayton Eagles at 8:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, Luella didn't have quite enough to beat Stone Mountain and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, North Clayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Riverdale. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

North Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Luella, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Luella took their victory against North Clayton when the teams last played back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 6-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Luella since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
