Basketball Recap: York County Tech Comes Up Short

York County Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 43-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tournament Opponent. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 44-32 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2021.

When it comes to explaining why York County Tech lost, don't look at Faith Atwater. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with ten points and 17 boards.

York County Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, York County Tech will take on Tulpehocken at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tournament Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-51 loss against Mason on the 30th.
