Lowndes is 9-1 against Valdosta since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. The last three games Lowndes has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Things were looking good for Lowndes after they put the first runs on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Suwannee by a score of 5-4.

Meanwhile, Valdosta lost a heartbreaker to Lowndes when they met back in April of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Valdosta's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Lowndes, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10.

Lowndes skirted past Valdosta 4-3 in their previous meeting on Tuesday. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
