Solorio hadn't done well against Brooks recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Sun Warriors blew past the Eagles 14-7. Considering the Sun Warriors have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, Solorio broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7. As for Brooks, they dropped their record down to 13-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Solorio will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
