Baseball Recap: Dacula Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Dacula finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 7-0 to the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs. The shutout was out of character for the Falcons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Dacula's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-11. As for Winder-Barrow, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dacula will welcome Buford at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Winder-Barrow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
