Mission San Jose pushed their score to 71 the last time they played Amador Valley, but on Sunday they couldn't quite do it again. The Mission San Jose Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Amador Valley Dons a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory got Mission San Jose back to even at 12-12. As for Amador Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.
