Soccer Recap: Lincoln's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Lincoln won the last time they faced Lodi and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lincoln Trojans' defense stepped up to hand the Lodi Flames a 5-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Lodi with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexis Magdaleno (2), Peysha Hinnant, Trinity Thompson, and Mya Bryant.

The win made it two in a row for Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 12-2-3. As for Lodi, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-3 record this season.

Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Lincoln's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lodi, they will host West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lodi is facing West at the right time seeing as West is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
