Softball Recap: Clinch County Has No Trouble Against Brooks County

Clinch County barely beat Brooks County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 13-1 victory on Thursday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by nine runs or more this season.

Clinch County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Brooks County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clinch County will face off against rival Lanier County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brooks County is set to take on their familiar foe Charlton County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
