Basketball Recap: Freedom Area Takes a Loss

Freedom Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost to the Rochester Rams at home by a 53-36 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-40 back in December of 2024.

Freedom Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Rochester, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Freedom Area has already played their next game (against Western Beaver), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rochester will square off against Laurel at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
