Softball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Marietta lost against Walton back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Raiders, falling 18-3. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sadie Mamer was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Walton, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marietta is set to challenge their familiar foe Cherokee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Walton will square off against rival Etowah at 5:00 p.m. on September 4.
