Basketball Recap: Honoka'a Takes a Loss

Honoka'a was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani. The Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ka Makani earlier this season, when they won 42-26.

Honoka'a's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Hawaii Prep, they moved to 4-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Honoka'a does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hawaii Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Christian Liberty Academy at 5:30 p.m.
