Softball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Centennial

Centennial played against South Gwinnett on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

The victory made it two in a row for Centennial and bumps their season record up to 6-17. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for South Gwinnett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will head out to square off against Blessed Trinity at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.47 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South Gwinnett, they will take on Newton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
