Basketball Recap: Burbank Victorious

Burbank won the last time they faced Armijo, and Aniyah Bufford did her part to make sure it happened again. The Burbank Titans were the clear victor by a 62-40 margin over the Armijo Royals on Wednesday thanks in part to Bufford, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 25 boards. She has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 18 times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Daejahmonni Tagger, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Burbank's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Armijo, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Burbank wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-15 win against Johnson on the 31st. As for Armijo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-18 defeat against Fairfield on the 31st.
