Middle Creek extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Cameron Gerber. Everything went the Mustangs' way against the Sanderson Spartans on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Gerber, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Middle Creek never let Sanderson on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 27-25.

Despite the loss, Sanderson still got an impressive performance from Mireya Chavez, who had 20 digs.

Middle Creek's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Sanderson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
