Basketball Recap: Corona Del Mar's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Corona del Mar had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 39-33 W over the Cerritos Dons on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-45 last Saturday.

The win got Corona del Mar back to even at 5-5. As for Cerritos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Corona del Mar will be taking part in a tournament against Northwood at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Corona del Mar is facing Northwood at the right time seeing as Northwood is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Cerritos, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 59-41 loss against Santa Margarita on the 11th.
