Softball Recap: Dalton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dalton fell victim to Allatoona and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Buccaneers. The defeat continues a trend for the Catamounts in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Dalton's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Allatoona, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dalton will square off against rival Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Allatoona is set to take on their familiar foe Cartersville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Buccaneers 3.2, the Hurricanes 1.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
