Basketball Recap: Kimball Skates Past Pitman with Ease

There's no place like home for Kimball, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They breezed past the Pitman Pride to the tune of 54-22 on Tuesday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Jaguars had established a 28-point advantage.

Kimball was led to victory by Emma Coronado and Matalie Floyd. Coronado shot 47% from the field en route to 23 points and three steals, while Floyd dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Floyd is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mariah Torres, who posted four points along with six rebounds and four steals.

The win got Kimball back to even at 2-2. As for Pitman, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Kimball and Las Lomas will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Pitman, they will host Livingston at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
