Baseball Recap: Bryan County Comes Up Short

Bryan County and Charlton County squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Bryan County had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-3 to the Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Redskins in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.

Bryan County's defeat dropped their record down to 18-17. As for Charlton County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.

Bryan County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Charlton County, they will face off against Lake Oconee Academy on Wednesday. The Titans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
