Raymore-Peculiar is 9-1 against Lee's Summit since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lee's Summit will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Raymore-Peculiar extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday. The Panthers put the hurt on Staley with a sharp 8-2 win. Considering the Panthers have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lee's Summit). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Staley a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Lee's Summit's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Raymore-Peculiar, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-2.

Raymore-Peculiar skirted past Lee's Summit 4-2 in their previous matchup on September 11th. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
