Basketball Game Preview: Penn Treaty Wovles vs. Bodine

The Penn Treaty Wovles will head out to face off against Bodine at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Penn Treaty has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Friday, Penn Treaty didn't have too much trouble with Parkway Center City as they won 49-35.

Meanwhile, Bodine entered their match against Academy at Palumbo on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Bodine fell 33-26 to Academy at Palumbo. While losing is never fun, Bodine can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Academy at Palumbo is ranked 135th).

Penn Treaty pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Bodine, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Penn Treaty strolled past Bodine when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 53-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Penn Treaty since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
