Dalton waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Calhoun Yellow Jackets by a score of 7-3. While the Catamounts didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Dalton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Calhoun, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Coming up, Dalton will challenge Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodland's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Dalton's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Calhoun, they will take on Northwest Whitfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
