Volleyball Recap: Brighton Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Brighton picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the South Gibson Hornets.

Elizabeth Collins paced Brighton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Collins got some help from Greta Garrett and her 16 assists. Taylor Simpson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Brighton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for South Gibson, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Brighton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Crockett County on the 27th. As for South Gibson, they will challenge Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
