Roswell and Milton are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Roswell Hornets will be playing at home against the Milton Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Roswell's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Milton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Roswell's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Monday's struggle, when Fellowship Christian hitters got past them. Roswell came up short against Fellowship Christian on Monday, falling 10-3. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Milton and Gainesville meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. Milton took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gainesville.

Milton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. Roswell's loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Roswell beat Milton 4-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Roswell repeat their success, or does Milton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
