Basketball Recap: Lakeland Comes Up Short

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 45-22 to the Holy Cross Crusaders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-37 back in January.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Holy Cross, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Lakeland will take on Western Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Cross, they will square off against Dunmore at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
