Jones County entered their tilt with McDonough on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Warhawks 17-2. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Jonathan Scarbary, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Landen Wilson was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Jones County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McDonough only posted a batting average of .182.
