Recap: Clarion Area Bobcats vs. Cranberry Area Berries
The Clarion Area Bobcats won the last time they faced the Cranberry Area Berries, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Clarion Area came out on top against Cranberry Area by a score of 40-27.
Clarion Area was led to victory by Marley Kline and Taylor Alston. Kline scored 15 points along with seven rebounds, while Alston dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Alston has scored at least a third of Clarion Area's points.
Clarion Area has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Cranberry Area, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarion Area will take on Redbank Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clarion Area will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Redbank Valley is ranked 124th). As for Cranberry Area, they will be playing at home against Keystone at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
