Basketball Game Preview: Pasadena Bulldogs vs. Temple City Rams

The Pasadena Bulldogs will take on the Temple City Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Saturday, Pasadena was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-52 to Bishop Alemany. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Temple City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 62-37 to Valencia. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Vikings are ranked 68th).

Pasadena will have to contain Kristi Huynh as she made an impact in Temple City's last game. She posted 21 points and five rebounds. The game was Huynh's eighth in a row with at least ten points.

Pasadena's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Temple City, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
