Baseball Recap: Fullington Academy Comes Up Short

Fullington Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Grace Christian Academy Cougars, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Thursday.

Fullington Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cutter Tharpe, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Fullington Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Grace Christian Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

While Fullington Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
