Basketball Recap: Petaluma Takes a Loss

Petaluma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 69-21 defeat at the hands of the Justin-Siena Braves. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Justin-Siena to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lauren KELLER, who went 7 for 13 en route to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan WASHINGTON, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 boards.

Petaluma's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Justin-Siena, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Petaluma will head out to square off against Terra Linda at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Justin-Siena, they will welcome University at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Justin-Siena is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season.
