Baseball Recap: Savannah Comes Up Short

Savannah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Bryan County Redskins, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Wednesday.

Savannah's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bryan County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Savannah will take on Claxton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bryan County, they will square off against Emanuel County Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bryan County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
