Recap: Esperanza vs. La Serna
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately neither team quite found what they we're looking for on Saturday. Esperanza and La Serna finished up their match with a 2-2 draw. The result kept Esperanza happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 4th.
Esperanza's draw gives them a new season record of 19-4-3. As for La Serna, they moved theirs to 17-1-5.
Esperanza does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for La Serna, they will square off against Quartz Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average, (La Serna: 0.5, Quartz Hill: 0.4) so any goals scored will be well earned.
