Basketball Recap: St. Patrick Comes Up Short

St. Patrick lost against East Central last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fighting Irish fell 54-48 to the Hornets.

St. Patrick's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for East Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, St. Patrick will face off against Moss Point at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Fighting Irish will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for East Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Greene County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
