Mountain Empire will have to contain Montse Acosta as she made an impact in Ocean View Christian's last game. She posted 12 points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds. That was a full 52.2% of Ocean View Christian's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Ocean View Christian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Mountain Empire, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Mountain Empire against Ocean View Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2018, as the team secured a 55-24 win.
