Lampeter-Strasburg has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lebanon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Pioneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cedars at 7:00 p.m. Lampeter-Strasburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Lampeter-Strasburg took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They never let Solanco get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The Pioneers have beaten the Golden Mules the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Golden Mules has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Cooper Hillen, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Scranton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Lampeter-Strasburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Solanco only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, Lebanon hadn't done well against Warwick recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Cedars won by a run and slipped past the Warriors 2-1.
Lebanon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Furjanic, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Lampeter-Strasburg's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Lebanon, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lampeter-Strasburg has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Lebanon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Lampeter-Strasburg skirted past Lebanon 4-3 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Do the Pioneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cedars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
