Basketball Recap: Franklin Triumphs

Franklin won the last time they faced Coronado and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Franklin Cougars came out on top against the Coronado Thunderbirds by a score of 57-49.

Andre Martinez and Roberto Lopez certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Martinez posted ten points, while Lopez earned 11 points.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Coronado, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-7 record this season.

Franklin has already played their next match, a 44-26 loss against Montwood on the 17th. As for Coronado, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-43 defeat against Pebble Hills on the 17th.
