After only one run in their last matchup, Weld Central made sure to put some runs up on the board against Arvada on Saturday. The Rebels put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 14-5 victory. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Jennisa Hale made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Hale was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Weld Central's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Arvada, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-6 record this season.

Weld Central will be taking part in a tournament against Wellington at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Rebels' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Arvada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
