Soccer Recap: Davis Sr. Victorious

Davis Sr. won the last time they faced St. Francis and things went their way on Thursday too. The Davis Sr. Blue Devils came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Francis Troubadours, sneaking past 3-2. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Blue Devils were the better team in the second half.

Davis Sr.'s victory bumped their record up to 5-2-2. As for St. Francis, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3-3 record this season.

Davis Sr. will head out on the road to take on Folsom at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis Sr.'s last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. Francis, they will be playing at home against Colfax at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Colfax will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something St. Francis surely won't give up without a fight.
