Basketball Recap: Northwestern Lehigh Piles Up the Points Against Southern Columbia Area

Northwestern Lehigh had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Southern Columbia Area 51-18 on Friday.

Northwestern Lehigh found their leader in sophomore Natalie Conner, who shot 47% from the field on her way to 21 points along with five assists and four steals. Emma Freeman was another key player, putting up nine points.

Northwestern Lehigh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-45 loss against Eastern Lebanon County on the 29th. As for Southern Columbia Area, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-19 victory against Hamburg on the 29th.
