While Gilroy's victory against San Lorenzo Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Cougars 38-36.

The win got Gilroy back to even at 3-3. As for San Lorenzo Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Gilroy will venture away from home to face off against Rancho San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for San Lorenzo Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against MacDonald at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Condor will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
